Board Member: Caitlin Scott
Born in Santa Monica, Caitlin Scott has lived in Colorado, Brooklyn, Italy, San Francisco, Austin, and is now back where she began in LA. Along the way she has worked on the album releases of Lil John, The Ying Yang Twins, J Mascis, Pitbull, Ambulance LTD, and The Incredible Moses Leroy. She worked on several artists’ installations in New York and mural creations in LA, was the assistant costume designer for an independent film, worked grounds crew at Colorado College (voted best at string trimming), and has served on the RGK Foundation since 2004.
During her tenure at the RGK Foundation she moved to bring environmentally friendly practices to the organization, spearheaded the shift towards high impact grant giving, and fought to create an incubator for the development of innovated grant giving to adapt to the new climate of philanthropy. She also brought her passion for foster children and led the initiative within the RGK to focus on the inadequacies of our current foster care system. She is now taking that passion to the Reissa Foundation to advocate and support the unique needs of our foster children in Los Angeles.
